Secret Handshakes - New Works by Brian Morris and Mitch O'Connell
This show features two of our favorite artists from our home town, Brian Morris and Mitch O' Connell. Both Mitch and Brian draw heavily from tattoo-inspired graphics, though their styles differ greatly. Mitch tends a little more toward the light and kitschy whereas Brian tends to explore darker themes. Regardless, this should be another great show in our gallery!
Opening night was Friday, May 22 from 7pm until 10pm with music by DJ Yunicorn. Exhibit continues through June 7.

Join us Saturday, May 30th from 4pm until 6pm for the official release party for our two new two series! Marshall Series 1 by 64 Colors and Tear Drips Series 1 by Travis Lampe are now available in the online store, but we'll be partying like it's the release day on Saturday the 30th.
Travis and 64 Colors artists Eric and Laura will be at Rotofugi Chicago signing and sketching plus the first 40 attendees get a goodie bag stuffed with stickers, buttons, mini prints and prizes including custom toys by both artists!

- Chris Gilmore, known by his stage name, ‘FluiD’, is a Chicago, IL. based experimental / multi-genre electronic musician, sound-designer and cultural activist. A self-described, "Afro-futurist". His first album 'Warhol' was released was in 1988 and since that time has released over a dozen albums. His 2011 release, 'Envisioning Abstraction: the Duality of FluiD' (ALRN008), received international critical acclaim. FluiD's music, encompasses a multitude of styles and influences - techno, jazz, noise, classical avant-garde, hip-hop, psychedelia, metal, dub, early industrial and ambient. It is often referred to as "post industrial hip-hop". In addition to his many releases, FluiD has also performed throughout North America and Central America, from concert halls to art galleries to dance clubs. He was also a featured performer at several music festivals including, 'experi-MENTAL Festival' (Brooklyn, NY.), 'Noise Shock: Abstract Art and Music Festival' (East Moline, IL.), 'Under the Radar - experimental/industrial/electronic music exposition' (Kansas City, MO.) and 'Spark: Festival of Electronic Music and Arts' (Minneapolis, MN.).
